What I mostly need is the pit-to-pit measurement. I'm trying to get a feel for which size I'd be. With a button down over a T-shirt, I've got a resting chest of 43.5 (45.5 expanded).

I'm in an email conversation with Holly, but I'm trying to come into these exchanges with as much info as I can, to facilitate things and make it easier on her end. I can't seem to find these figures anywhere. Thanks guys.

I have a moonshiner in size 46, not quite the same jacket but the Pit-2-Pit is 26.5 inches.
It’s been awhile since I’ve ordered direct, but can’t you specify the measurements you need/want and have Aero make the jacket for you.. the size label inside becomes meaningless on a relatively bespoke jacket.

Thanks, if I can simply spec the P2P, that works out just fine. This will be my 3rd Aero, but actually the first one I've ordered from them directly.

This has certainly been my experience with Aero jackets. I have two Highwayman jackets I picked up off eBay, one is a size 42 and the other is a size 46. The 42 has a p2p of 23.5” and the 46 has a p2p of 23.75”. The size labels are basically irrelevant in this case since both jackets have almost identical chest measurements.
I don’t know if Aero will allow you to spec. the p2p and I am curious to hear what you find out.

Would love to see photos of the moonshiner

Yeah, I don't think they do really. What I have in mind, is to give them the P2P measurement that I'm after, and then get set up in the size that'll get me there.

It occurs to me that Moonshiner is probably cut much more like the Bootlegger than the Hooch Hauler. My Bootlegger is a 42 with extra room in the sides - it fits like a 44 I think. It's got a P2P of 26. The Hooch Hauler is closer to their STF fit. A 46 regular would have a much more fitted torso. I just don't know how much. That's what I'm trying to figure out.

I am pretty sure they find the closest pit to pit that matches. They did tell me they can spec the shoulder custom to a certain point for a given size. And obviously taper body, taper sleeve, length, etc
