Beautiful coat, if I didn't already have twenty jackets and an abundance of inner strength I'd be very tempted. Great pocket design on this as well, I wish my Bootlegger had pockets like this.

I briefly had a Vanson HH from the same era and wasn't impressed with the hide. I have heard of others that were happy, but I won't take the gamble again. To be fair there were other issues with the jacket but to a degree were because of the thin spots n the hide and construction.

That is true especially in this case. A casual search of the regular made to order HH Diamond Dave J-21 will show it only costs $1149. I don't see how the seller can justify the doubling of the price without saying more.

I am starting to really like the Ike but am wary of new Vanson. New ones I've had in the last few years pale in comparison to the ones older than 10 years ago and don't fit that great. Sleeve length looks freakishly short also. I wish people knew how to properly measure a jacket.

This isn't rocket science here folks.

It's to the point I send a picture with measurement requests of what and how to measure. It's helped.
