The felt I would describe as thick but malleable.
The leather sweatband a little stiff, cardboard like, but vastly superior to the
modern pleather offering of Christy's current production.

In person this hat is a slightly darker, deeper burgundy than it appears on my screen.

Quality - This hat is MUCH better than modern production Christys
I would put it in the same league as Akubra.
