Man, if this was 2" longer in body and still had the side straps it would be an insta buy it now for me.
Unfortunately i am 99% sure that it would be too short, does the thickness of the shearling make it feel even shorter than it really is? I would imagine that it sits higher on the shoulders because of that. (does it feel shorter on you than the Lee-101?)

Could you please add a front and back fit pic? I know you have some but can't find them.

It doesn't feel particular short, I can't remember my lee but I would say it feels same, the shearling does makes shoulder looks wilder, but doesn't makes the jacket fits tighter, probably because the 3oz horsehide (jacket weight 6.5lbs). I would say it is still fits like true 42.
The waist is little too big for me due to lack of side buckles.

That's a truly stunning piece. Any winter on earth, you're set for life. I don't see what's there to even think about if you need a good cold weather jacket. If it was a cross zipper with shearling lining, I'd be throwing money all over the screen.
