Vintage Champ Pork Pie 6 3/4 "Chocolate Brown"

This is a great vintage Champ pork pie. The Chocolate brown felt is in great shape with just one small pull near the binding, on the back of the brim. There is a wide gross grain ribbon with a nice bow and a wind trolley in a darker brown. The liner is white satin and is in good shape with minimal staining. The liner is slightly loose in places but is in tact and in great shape. I steamed the hat and it molded very easily. The felt is of good quality.

However, the hat is very small. It is a 6 3/4 size. I bought it under the impression it was 7 3/8. Was listed improperly, so after getting it, it is not even close to my size. Under the sweat (which is also in good shape, minimal staining) there was a factory tag indicating size. The size is also written in grease pen under the sweat. This is a great little hat if you have a smaller head. Perhaps for a child if you have a child looking for a vintage pork pie.
