Northwest hats (Mike Miller) in silvermist and smokegrey ribbon with sharkgills and dogears treatment and matching color brimedge, 100% beaver. The hat is also showing on the webpage of Northwest hats - - - -> custom hats - - - > custom hat gallery - - - - > 'Gills'.
You can be justifiably proud of that exquisite hat. I checked out Northwest Hats and found that they are US based. The cost of carriage and import duty makes the cost prohibitive for UK buyers. When I saw that you are from Enshede, I got quite excited, thinking that I had found another European based custom milliner. Custom made hats are such a good fit. Maybe, if we are lucky, The UK and The US will strike a trade deal this time next year.

Thank you.
For me it's also not cheap to buy from the US. Custom clearance about 50 euro's and shipping will make the hat more expensive. Nevertheless i'm very pleased with this hat. Worth every penny! ;-)
Maybe you have to check Hornskov or Hufvud hats, based in europe (Denmark and Sweden) to make you a well made bespoke custom hat.

That NW has a lot of style, sir. I have one in the queue and hoping it gets to me soon. The gills on that one really stand out.

Light snow last night gave us a 2" dusting. It is not enough snow to get real worked up about, but enough that has to be purposely cleared. I cleared snow from driveway and walkways in a vtg.Stetson Open Road Twenty Five. This hat has worked a lot in its 75+ years and the leather sweat may need replacing soon. This Open Road has definitely earned an honored place on my hat tree. It is a lovely hat and felt.

Nice one, Marcel!
Love fish/canine bows!
Though I’ve never seen a shark with ears.
Great hat. Thanks for letting me see how the sewing pattern is from inside.
Be helpful when I attempt to do my next gilled bow.

Nice hat, Eric! Indeed, your hat tree bears sweet fruit and you seem to own an endless orchard of them!
