It does!
Here is a cheeky preview, full review coming up in a week or two...

I had a reproduction of exactly this jacket from Hein Gericke (a German motorcycle clothing manufacturer) over 20 years ago. This jacket was lined with gray felt and had knitted cuffs in the sleeves. Unfortunately I gave them away.

Thanks.

Pros: I'm much, much lighter on my feet. I can go up multiple flights of stairs 2 at a time without running out of breath which I couldn't do before. I'm able to bend and lift things in ways that I couldn't before. I don't feel the blood rush to my head when tying my shoes.

Cons = I get cold a lot easier so I'm wearing more layers than I used to need. All of my old clothes are either too big or have to be worn in an oversized way. Moving heavy things is harder. There's some real benefit to having some weight to throw around when you're trying to move a piano or hold up a heavy motorcycle that's starting to tip.

All in all I'm very happy to not be carrying all the extra weight everywhere.
Wow, any weight loss tip?

Eat less. I started with intermittent fasting (basically only eating during an 8 hour window each day) and then switched to just being more careful what I eat. I've cut out breakfast cereal, limit desserts heavily and cut way down on alcohol. On top of that I eat smaller portions of everything I do eat and try to choose healthier options when eating out. I've also accepted that throwing away a bit of food is better than eating it when I don't need it. If I'm full and there's still a bit on the plate I toss it or save for a later meal rather than eating it because it's there. I still eat pretty much anything. I just do so carefully and limit the amount I eat to what I really need.

I've tried to be a bit more active as well but the reality is that food consumption is where you can affect weight. Exercise is great for health but as the old adage goes "you can't outrun a bad diet".

Reduce your sleep if possible waking hours burn more callories, so wake up early. I put all cookies and snack in the fridge/ freezer, when i really want some peanuts i walk to the fridge open its jar, pour some on my hand, close the jar put back in the freezer, and only carry what i have on hand then eat one by one, half the peanut if you can. Same with biscuit or cookies, i take one or 2 and walk away from the fridge to eat it slowly, never carry the packing with you. I have many snacks in the fridge, dont let yourself to crave to something, just have everything in small portion.

I sun tanned it about 15 days last summer than Pecards.. was a bit “brighter” than I had hoped.. after a few weeks wear it’s starting to pick up some discoloration and rub marks.. and it’s showing some potential.
