Wow that’s pretty crazy.
Anybody pick a fight with you? You know just for old times. Maybe that old boy in the Western??
Ahh the good old days!

Man.. I ain’t picking a fight with nobody any more. LOL. Least of all that guy! Although I think the guy I hit with a fireball all those years ago to take that Caribbean title was giving me the evil eye. Haha.

You are my new hero Joe. I love wrestling. I remember growing up in Puerto Rico the NWA used to come and perform with Rick Flair, Abdullah the Butcher, The Rock & Roll Express, and a bunch of other stars. My brothers and I used to go all the time.

Awesome!

How cool Hector. That was a great time period in wrestling.. the stuff that had me hooked too! I almost went to work in Puerto Rico with this company for Carlos Colon. But my body was breaking down on me around that time.. plus I had Buddy Rogers voice still in my head saying... never go there. They will kill you LOL

Carlos Colon, wow, he's like the "it" in Puerto Rican wrestling. Yes, the Bruiser Brody death was a black eye for Capitol Sports Promotions.

I'm friends with aka Chicky Starr, one of the craziest wrestlers of my time, lol. ..

How cool Joe.

Part two of this two hat day...

Wide World of Wrestling Champ7 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

So this part could use some explaining...

Back in the 1990’s I wrestled professionally as ‘The Legacy’ Blare Rogers. Grandson of Nature Boy Buddy Rogers... Buddy was the very first WWE champion (then WWWF) in the early 60’s. One company I worked for in Florida and around the Caribbean was Wide World of Wrestling (now Champ7). They called me a few weeks back and let me know they wanted to induct me into the 2020 class of their Hall of Fame. What an honor it was to be inducted into a group of talent I consider serious legends in that business. It was very cool to be remembered for work we did a quarter century ago already. AND it was definitely an occasion to break out the Lord Kent Beaver 15 Homburg. What a very cool night it was!

And this was me back when I worked for Wide World of Wrestling holding their Bahamas championship for a year or so.

Once again, I’m embarrassed to post this amongst all the stunning hats on here...this is wool felt from New York hats - bought before I came across the Lounge. The internet searches were telling me the best hats around were Borsalino, Bailey, Stetson, Goorin, New York Hat etc. That’s quite a mix. This hat is now reserved for days like today - wandering about the local neighborhood.
On the bright side, new Panizza arrived today. I got to try it on for size, but can’t wear or post until my birthday in about 3 weeks.
My wife’s in a Complit.

Today, a hat that I love very much makes his annual tour, but I wear little because it is too wide
HC 2 bis.jpg

Huckel with no other indication. A very elegant and well finish piece of felt.
HC 2.jpg

Sold in Paris. To date of this creation Steve will be able to give much more information than myself
HC 5.jpg

The Carnival stopped from this morning for health issues, as well as many activities in Northern Italy. The situation is in some respects surreal and quite contradictory
HC 6.jpg

We will see in the coming days what will happen
Nice Monday to everyone and thanks for the likes.

Best togs I’ve ever owned and spent less than anyone might spend on a meal for two at Appleby’s.
Who knew eBay was the place to go for a fine, fitted suit?
Great gets on the hat and suit, Randall.

Well, that is very cool. I must admit I'm unfamiliar with your circuit or the contemporaries who entered the HoF with you. I think my hey-day was a bit before you were wrestling. Wrasslin' lost some of it's mojo when the independent circuits were consolidated under the now-WWE, IMHO.

Getting into any HoF is a feather in your fedora. Congratulations!
