Hello all,
Just wanted to say that I smoke Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur Cigarillos, but really enjoy using and collecting Nasal Snuffs. Here is a photo of my little Snuff Bar.

But I also enjoy my Lids...my Akubras and of course my beloved old Fedoras! The one I’m wearing in my avatar is an Akubra. Believe it is a Snowy River. It has served me well over the years.
Cheers,

I love Snuff I got myself a little collection at home as well. But I dont use it as often as I would like as the potential to make a mess in public, or to have people be confused as to what youre doing ha

Well....my hands shake....72+years old..but I generally don’t make a mess. I like Ozona President and I take very small pinches at a time, always away from any breeze. As for other people being confused...all my snuffs have the makers label on them..so guess I figure that’s their problem to wrestle with. LOL! F575D8D2-0F5B-4233-A7B3-56212709F03D.png

Never tried nasal snuff....I am a tobacco leaf buy.....RedMan mostly. I do it on my own time and out of sight.
Hi belfastboy,
Each to their own poison I say! On a visit to Niagara Falls (Canadian Side ), I ran out of pipe tobacco and finally found a shop that carried some ( not my brand ) and asked to purchase it. The clerk said, and I quote..”Has the owner given you a quote on the price yet?” Honesty..I don’t know how anyone can afford a tobacco habit in Canada...or maybe this highway robbery applies only to we cousins from the USA. As I remember..I was charged around $20 for about 2 1/2 ounces and this was probably 8 years ago. When I got back to our hotel room and fired it up..it tasted and smelled like I would imagine straw damp from dog pee would! On future trips to Canada, I always made certain I had everything I needed before entering the country!

Yes, I travel to the US frequently (or at least I used to pre pandemic) and make sure I stock up. My cigar habit as well. I could not afford to smoke cigars if I had to buy them here. Buy them online and ship them to a US border town and pick up when across the border. Taxes, taxes, taxes...out medical coverage is not exactly 'free'

A venue I know in London which doesn't have any outside space started selling it after the smoking ban back in '07. Dabbled a couple of times, but it didn't do anything for me. Then the real attraction of my pipe for me is the ritual - getting it filled, lighting, tamping, relighting... I probably only smoke one bowl a month, on average. The one snuff I did really like was a nicoteen-free, menthol glucose one. Really cleared the sinuses. White powder, though. Gto to be careful where you wonder sniffing that.

Hi Edward,
I smoked a pipe for many years. Have a collection of about 30 with some quite expensive ones. Tried many custom blends but always went back to good old Borkum Riff! Don’t smoke the pipe anymore due to only having about 6 teeth left and no longer comfortable. I do smoke the Hoyo de Monterey Cigarillos, but my favorite thing these days is my nasal snuff as I can use it anywhere. And no...I don’t give a hoot what people think!
Cheers,
Unkei

While there are professional contexts and other situations which render absolutist positions impractical, as a general rule not caring about others' criticisms of onesself is absolutely the most liberating thing one can do.
