I'm looking at getting an Alpha Industries current model L2-B.
Does anyone know the sizing on these? A few reviews on amazon say they fit quite small and aren't as "puffy" as the MA-1
I'm 5'11 170lbs.
Any suggestions on sizing?

The original issue L2-B were fairly close to actual size, but they were short, very short. And it didn't help any when they were washed and not dry cleaned per instructions.
You normally would wear a large, I think, so a size up to X Large ought to do it.
The MA-1 flight jacket was "puffy" because it had wool batting insulation, whereas the L2-B did not. In the climates where I was stationed, I seldom needed to wear the MA-1.

Being super depressed is fantastic for ones wallet, concerning leather jackets or clothes in general, especially if you already have a cool jacket. Still, I've got a cool Levi's shearling lined Type-3 on the way which I hope will help me out with finding another girl I'll eventually end up suicidal over, once she dumps me. But if Mr. Levi can't help me in that regard, who can.

There's a logic behind this but it is very difficult to explain, especially considering that my intellect right now, provided there's some still left, is slowly getting shrouded by a pleasantly peaceful effect of Zolpidem. So all is good. As it should be.

I’ve got two NOS Alpha MA-1s in navy blue headed my way, one L and one XL. My plan is to keep the one that fits best and give the other one away. I have a good friend who is a bit smaller than me and another good friend who’s a bit larger, one of them is going to be getting a free jacket in a few days!

Lots of times your head is the worst place to be. No one can twist your brain more than yourself. A set of headphones can take you far from wherever you are.
The lounge is a great diversion and we love your participation. It’s not the same family without @Monitor leading the way for us siblings.

I found that there is always someone fighting a bigger battle. I've been fighting cancer with chemo for the past few years after my Wife of 38 years died of the same colon/liver cancer several years ago. I was diagnosed three months after her death. I can feel depressed and alone. However, when I go to the cancer center for treatment and see the balding frail women going through their IV drips and shuffling from one room to the other, I catch myself and mourn for their sorrowful conditions rather than dwell on mine. I have lost no hair..and everyone says that I look good. My only main symptoms are weakness and tiredness. Yet it is surely slowly killing me.
So, you see, I suddenly lost the girl that I shared several decades with, built a home with and in a matter of six weeks everything changed and she was gone. There was nothing I could do. I'm not trying to make light of someone else's heartbreak but just remember...you are never alone in grief and are fortunate to have time to heal and find happiness.
BTW I take two Trazodone 50 mg each night to sleep.
