Look great but clicking that link at least on my phone...it was the weirdest site and couldn’t really follow it ha. I’ll try on my desktop maybe.
Yeah, it's more of a fun and hobby page than a site to present his work :). On his IG account it is easier to get an impression of his work.

Agreed, I checked it out on my tablet and had a similar experience. He looks like a nice guy with a lot of interesting friends, but I didn’t see anything that made me think I should order a pair of boots from him.

my wife has us on self- imposed lock-down

Be well. I hope you aren't experiencing symptoms.

Like a lot of people, I have more shoes than feet. Some shoes are "nicer". Some more expensive. Designer brands which I regretfully spent too much money on. Some are activity specific, like boxing ring shoes & motorcycle boots. Uniform duty boots for when I'm in uniform. Formal shoes when I'm dressed in formal wear. I have western boots, and don't own a horse. I have Dr. Martens, and I don't deliver the mail in England.

Now I've found myself wearing 1 pair of shoes, more than any other shoes, when I get wear whatever I want. Boots. Cheap boots. Boots which a lot of people would not consider. I got them for even less money, on sale, and with "rewards points". These are unbelievably comfortable. Period. My feet just feel really good. The leather seemed a little dry out of the box. But as with all my boots, I applied mink oil. In the rain, my feet stay dry. They won't look good with dress pants. But in today's world of casual wear, these are just fine with jeans, work pants like Ben Davis, and cargo pants. I've been wearing this pair for about 3 years, and they just feel better every day.

Shoes are more my preference, which is why you don't see any posts of mine here, but I do have a couple of pairs of decent boots. Both pairs are more about flair than function. The first, are a pair from on line retailer, Samuel Windsor, and the second are hand made from former Lounger SimonC. I hope you like them.

Corcoran Jump Boots

I added the zipper. A lazy civilian shortcut. Zippers go on a lot of my boots.

I accidentally applied cordovan color shoe polish. For whatever reason, it really took to the toe cap, but not the whole boot. I kind of like it now. With a little wear, it's taken on character.

The only things I lace now are short desert boots. All my Lucchese western and Roper boots are slip on. Same for my Aussie made Blundstones and Rossi boots. I also have RM Williams slip onboots for "good" or formal wear. No more lace up Doc Martens or brogues for me and they used to be a staple ? I'm a zipper avoider as well. just don't like the look myself , plus like "elastic waisted" jeans or trousers well I'm just not old enough yet !

I got my Onderhoud boots in Maryam horsebutt leather. Given how awful the Indonesian leather on my brother's Sagaras was and what I've heard from other owners, I am glad that I went with this leather instead. The leather is not teacore, but they should age pretty nicely.

That's a beautiful shape of what's usually an aggressively styled boot. Great choice on the leather, looks great in the pictures. Looks very solidly constructed as well. Congrats on the new arrivals.
