I noticed that with most of their jackets, you need to try thrm on. I wasn't that hot on the Columbia until I tried it and now it is most likely going to be my next order from them

@red devil I‘ve just sent a price request for a red goatskin one to Langlitz...not sure yet if I really want to take the risk to order a red leather jacket and I‘m not sure about the quality of Langlitz compared to others like Thedi, Aero, Freewheelers, etc. I really like that style and you‘re responsible for another jacket if my wife asks me why I order another one

Which model are you looking to get exaclty?

Their goat skin is nice and durable, is there any reason you want goat? Just curious and want to make sure you get what you are looking for

In terms of quality, it easily looks as durable as any of the makers here. In terms of stitching and construction, it is very clean, better finish than the Aeros I have seen so far, not as tightly stitched as Lost Worlds or Freewheelers.

In other words a very well finished funtional jacket, and the range of motion is top notch. Add the fact that they are highly experienced in nailing a fit and you have a serious contender.

Basically a jacket that you can wear all the time, feel very comfortable in, and not need to baby in any way.

Thanks, Man! Actually the same as you in red goatskin and probably with crown zippers. I want a durable mid-weight leather and for sure my wife will laugh out loud when I really order it. I have been looking at the Death Head‘s Cascade for 2 years or so but I never felt „ready“ for this special design until I saw your rewiew! Total price incl shipping is $1955 plus 25% VAT and duty...actually more than expected...I think I‘ll wait a while and think about it. Sadly Theodoros doesn‘t offer that style.

This is an iconic design that belongs to a company still in business so it is probably best go with them as they are still making very good jackets.

Their goat certainly feels durable and the jacket weighs slightly over 2kg, so it does indeed fill your requirements.

I haven't seen their red goat, but have seen their red cow, and it was a very nice shade. I paid less for mine but I suspect because it is black goat and stock.

I would love to see it in red. Not sure if I would go with brass or nickel hardware with red... hmm...

I suspect you could once you add a snap to hold the flap, which you are better off doing after having used the jacket for a while
