I adore this hat more and more everyday.

It’s also getting dirtier and dirtier everyday...
a naphtha bath is on the horizon.

The Champ on the dresser has become a space holder... too bad, it’s a great hat, too.

Those three are not mere qualifiers.
They’re winners all! That Caxton is incredible!!!! Wormser, too!
I’m sure that Dalton brings tears to Jim’s eyes.

Wow, those are all fantastic gentlemen. Wonderful!

Good to revive this thread again, Randall. From what I've read Barlesoni made a more than decent hat and your hat certainly looks like it. Odd that they felt they needed a name resembling Borsalino.

Garrett, you must know this already, but those are some super dang duper nifty white lids!
I love the ostrich sweat on the first one!
Nevertheless, it leads me to this vexing inquiry:
After wearing that hat for a while and you take it off, does it leave quil pocks in your forehead?

It hasn't left a mark yet. Those are among the first replacement sweatbands Bob offered years back. He claims they are just calf leather with an ostrich hide pattern.
