I've been wearing this today for those allowed out of the house occasions with us all in lockdown while it's still cold enough here I can get away with it.

It's a sad day at the Handymike Hacienda...:(

After trimming my beautiful Kehoe, I'm under the impression it might be a ladies jacket.
First unzipped

Then zipped:

Finally, zipped with balls:

Good news is that Alan @ Johnson Leather says he can tailor it to fit like a man's jacket.
Bad news is he is closed for the next couple of months.
If anyone is looking for a wonderful gift, this is a beauty!
As it stands now, the jacket is going to wait out Covid-19 in "Isolation."

Uh - yeah - about that! ... Isolation & re-gifting it along may be the best solution here. At least it gives a good chuckle, but not after all the work you have put into this one.

There is just absolutely no way on earth that's a ladies jacket!

I dunno, but once it's tailored it will be incredible- slimmer upper sleeves, less chest room, and that J-100 taper....
Perfect jacket when done...but...how much $$$ ?!?

It fits you really great to begin with. That's why I insisted you liberate it from the horrid fringe. I mean, it fits you like Super's J-100, maybe even slightly trimmer. I don't think the J-100 is really all that trim, being an OTR style. Not if you don't wear one 2 sizes too small but usually, all the J-100's I've seen appear somewhat roomy, even for a CR. Maybe I'm wrong, though and someone who's handled one can correct me. The Beck 666 is trim! Though it has baggy sleeves but that's a fitted jacket alright.

There's usually always some excess space in the chest area of vtg jackets. You know that, though. That Sears I'm selling, it's a size 38 and still has 23" chest.

Aaah, doesn't matter. What matters is that the jacket looks awesome on you! If I had millions of $$$, you know what I'd do? I'd have JL install chest pockets into the seams 'cause I can't live without those. But other than that, you're set.
