Thanks, they are pretty and very relaxing. Just need the right conditions for them. I’m very fortunate to have a ton of shade from huge Oak trees. The Japanese Maples make great understory trees in hotter climates. Lots of great companion plants too - Azaleas; Hydrangeas; Japanese Aralias, Japanese Painted Ferns. I have a smaller garden in the front with some nice Aralias along with a big Red Emperor and Verde Waterfall:
