Very cool! Lots to love about this one- the diagonal chest pockets, the half-belt back on a motorcycle jacket. But that 21" back measurement would be a tough fit.

Wow! I owe you one. I'm thinking the same makers as the early belt back Hercules. 40s Talon zipper stop, sure looks like the same collar. Leather looks similar also.

I did immediately think of your Hercules. Very similar. If I recall correctly, the shape of the back yokes differ? Very interesting and cool jacket.
The main zip is identical to the one on the Eagleson’s I used to own. Great little zip, it still performed flawlessly.

Hercules, yep. With a tag, this is s $600 more worth of leather. More rare than any Buco.

Yes, the yoke is different. The Belt has been cut off and what is this odd zipper? It is only on this side.
Not sure what make it is. It is an interesting jacket for not that much money. Something to have some fun with.
The zipper on the right makes me think of the system they use to allow for gun belt space on old Police jackets like this 602.
Could it be something to accommodate a holster on the right hip? When you carry, you open the zipped gusset to have more room for your gun, when not carrying you zip it up and have a regular jacket?

Unfortunately only 23.5” down the back, confirmed with the seller sending a picture. Really cool though

Makes sense. Never seen this. It is being shipped today. Will make for an interesting examination.

Did they confirm the chest measurement? It seems a bit small for a medium.

Didn’t ask for the others because I was less concerned, but method seemed pretty good. Here’s the pic he sent:
Worth noting that he seems to be off by about .25”. I read 23.5” on this ruler but he gave 23.25” in the listing. Photo perspective can play tricks sometimes though

Post 2012 I don’t think they would make this.
That was the first thing i thought too when i saw it.
If it didn't have a label i would say it was an Alexander Leathers or a Simmons Bilt, it just has "that look".

Yeah, that was me. There's a good chance it's too small but based on how it looks I think it might work. Worst case I'll list it back up for someone else to get.
