Used Laptop For Sale? (not an offer)

A friend of mine is in a bit of a rut. The computer he has is about 9 years old, not very reliable, and not very fast. I've used it many times, and to tell you the truth, he needs a new computer. He does a lot of writing, and cannot write well in his room. The only answer to solving these problems is a laptop. My friend doesn't make enough to have much extra money, and it all usually goes towards bills, and still has had that computer there, still slow, still unreliable. I'd like to change that for him.

If anyone has a used laptop, one with at least a Pentium 3 processor (a Pentium 4 would be nice too), a cd drive, with all the accessories with it, in working order, and it is up for sale, I'd really like to know more. An estimate of the offering price is $100. I'm willing to go higher, but over $250 will be too much for me.

I'd really appreciate it.

craigslist.org is a great place to start.

I looked on ebay earlier and am looking on Craigslist now. Lots of choices, some sound reasonable, some not.

That seems to describe pretty much anything you look for on eBay and Craigslist.
