Not a steal, but fun Resistol real Milan for $45. I mean, until the seller stuffed it into a tiny box. Anyone know if there's an easy/safe way to straighten a bound natural Milan brim? Ugh. I just straighten them out with this steamer over an ironing board

Steam is your best friend when it comes to hats. I had a Montecristi arrive in a crushed box. The hat was packed very well which kept it from being destroyed. A little steam and all was well.

For $30 (on Amazon) it puts out all the steam I need. Not as much as a professional unit but more than enough for me. My wife probably uses it more. She uses it on clothes. I use it on my Hawaiian shirts and hats. This brand was recommended to me by Scott Dalsbo aka @bond.
What I like about mine is that you can press down on the felt or straw and effectively iron it out at the same time you are steaming.

I have had Schoble on my eBay list for two years, and this was the first one to show up that wasn't a poster.
I tried looking for info on Schoble hats on the Fedora Lounge, but all I found were pictures.
Anyone?
It is a beautiful hat regardless it’s age Max. Nice find. If I were to throw my guess in though... Mine would align with Alan’s estimate he gave on FB late.. 40s early 50s. Though his estimate is based probably more in fact and experience... mine more impression. LOL. Enjoy it!
