Schott 441PP and unexpected rain on our Saturday Harley ride ! Slippy roads thereafter.
Early 90's manufacture. Zip out fur lining. A "winter" jacket for me here in Australia.

Well todays Saturday Harley ride actually took place Sunday. Saturday AM was forecast 80% chance of rain that was of course in reality 100% !

Vanson Comet in 44" . Bought NEW in Australia couple of years back from a clearance sale in Queensland. $450 Aussie

Off the peg a neat fit, which is the design brief, no billowing AT ALL on the Harley even at 160 Km/H ( 100 MPH).

Zip tight sleeves so no wind ingress even with shorty deerskin unlined gloves. Taken on a coastal stop north of the City.

As appears the "usual" for me , Indian Ocean backdrop. Waves breaking on the offshore limestone reefs.

The CVO Springer is out of the shot at this location.

Here are 4 different Bike Jackets I use on a regular basis pending on the weather. The wife wanted to make a few shots yesterday of my current group for posterity sake so here they are:

1. LW J-23 in Russet with green quilted lining in body and sleeves. Super warm for winter riding!

2. LW J-23 Denim and Russet for Summer riding

3. LW J-24 for Fall Riding lots of patina

4. Aero Indian for anytime I so desire!!!!!

In limbo for now but soon will be rolling down the highway.

Vanson Sturgis today for the Saturday Harley ride. 7C when we set off. This jacket has 4 zipper vents for airflow when it heats up on the way home. Elasticated waist , not my favourite look but as a motorcycle specific jacket it stops "ballooning"
Buildings in the shot are late 1800's. Fremantle is a "preservation" city so is low rise for the most part.

Schott 673 today, over at the HD dealer by truck as it was a rainy day ( a week of that to come !)
This is not a "biker jacket" per se as it has no zip sleeves. "Cool" jacket tho'..
This "Cholo" style custom built from a Harley Fatboy , is NOT my style.

That Harley is not my thing either, but I like mine more skinny. Whatever blows your hair back.

This is old shovel with a narrow glide is the bees knees.

From today's Thursday Harley ride north of Perth Western Australia. 3 dry days wet again by Sunday. "Winter pattern"
Pulled up the bikes at the roadside to get the regenerating bush after the bushfires of recent.
A bit of winter rain and off it goes again. The Australian bush is fire "resistant" , some plants have become "fire dependent"
Grainy shot taken by 'phone across a 2 lane blacktop.
Jacket today is my Schott 641HH Café racer. Nice and close fitting for a cool day run. 5C start 16C at 1pm.

Saturday 4th July Harley ride , seemed "appropriate" with the Captain America skid lid.
Jacket is my Simmons Bilt black goat Nebraska.
A good choice today , just "warm" enough for a 7C start , not too hot on a 23C ride home.
Usual 'winter" pattern of 4 days rain arriving tomorrow , 15mm/20mm and on..

^ only thing is mine is the straight from Iron heart version. Self edge eliminates the side gussets on the jacket. Probably ok for walking around but if you’re gonna wear it on the bike i highly recommend them.
