I like the look of the Croydon, Joe. Nice find. The other one is more an acquired taste I suppose.

The Croydon. Do you think it is an English brand or one trying to pretend to be so?
Probably the latter, Joe. If it isn't an American made hat it's more likely to be German than English.

I don’t have that kind of luck...but then there was that Borsalino with a hand printed 7 7/8 size that turned out to be accurate and with the normal Borsalino sizing quirks it fit me perfectly.

Those Royal Stetson DeLuxe hats (vs Royal Deluxe Stetsons) get me every time!
Ignacio would flip it inside out to hide that moth bite, but I don’t know that he could open it up from 6 3/4 to a 7 3/4 without turning it into a stingy brim!

And they aligned again! Despite the huge odds, the 1940s Stetson Vita-Felt “3/4” actually did turn out to be a 7 3/4!
