Selling my Lost Worlds Speed Demon + a custom made shearling collar.

Lost Worlds as a company is questionable but I've been through many, many jackets and this one is the best. Best hide, fit, functionality, construction, etc., etc.

This jacket is modded in a way that it comes with a 1 pc. back, wider belt & a hardened kidney panel. Additional bonus is an inside / lining pocket and a chain loop. Higher quality zippers were added all over, ditto for the belt buckle.
All else is standard; Heavy 4oz horse hide. Warm, quilted lining. Five pocket config...

The base price for the jacket is $1450, the modifications cost an additional $450 +. This is a two grands worth of hide.

True, fitted 44. The jacket runs as true to size as possible! Can work if you're a 42, tried and tested. Too big if you're 40 or a 38. Might be too tight if you wear a 46.

I wore it most of the winter, the leather got some grain, that's about it. Whatever zipper the jacket originally came with was replaced with a mega-sturdy YKK so you don't have to worry about the curse of LW anymore.

The jacket just started its long, long journey. Not one single issue whatsoever. Literally still smells new.

P2P is 22.5" / 57 cm (maybe a bit more when stretched)
Shoulders are 20" / 51 cm
Waist is 20", maybe 20.5" / 51 or 52 cm
Back & sleeves are both 25.5" / 65 cm

The jacket is gone and sold. I forgot completely I promised it months ago to another member who kindly reminded me of this fact so I didn't even had to bother with the thread. Still, thanks a lot everyone. Now, time to part with the best leather jacket I ever had.

I am disappointed, but I understand, Monitor is doing the right thing.

Fear not, @jonbuilder there are some of us that still have a few Speed demons hanging in the closet. I will give you first crack the moment I decide to sell one. I love the FIT of this jacket compared to my J23. The Speed Demon is just a bit more fitted through the chest and arms, which I why I end up wearing it more than the J23s.
