I dedicate this one to Stu. Score horsehide and pink shorts. :)

It’s a great fest, fantastic music and the Jazz Museum / Old Mint is such a cool spot. Open secret, New Orleanians complain about the heat all the time anyway heh

On topic, here’s that vest how I’d actually wear it. With one of my Pendleton wool flannels, and how I actually wore it today- very lightweight western shirt which is de rigeur for old Cajun guys (one day I’ll be old enough for it to make sense)

This is a great look and a much needed realization that it is a great look. I never really knew how my vest really looks on me and if I look stupid wearing it since I've never seen a photo of the exact same one and most pics online are of the regular leather biker vest. My friend commented once how of course I would somehow find a jacket without sleeves so I really wasn't sure if it even is a vest or what. Now I see it's pure class and awesomeness. No doubts now that this is the only LW thing I wanna own.

A little perspective can go a long way. Glad you’re getting some value out of my “knock off”

Schott 646. They run a bit large, this is a 42. Cool D pocket.

Gotta say, that hair-on cowhide is a WAY cooler accent than the fringe I have been mulling over. Great fit per your usual too.

What how when why.

Very recent addition courtesy of @think_zot. Seamless transaction and all-around good dude. He has sold more incredible jackets than I’ll own in my lifetime.

It’s a jacket I have been looking for the past few years. Always too small or seriously marked up by the vendor or seller. Finally happened and I am very happy with it. Room for a nice vest, lighter sweater, flannel shirt too.

Oh yeah- go for a grizzly jacket or hair-on as an accent. I like both quite a bit. Thanks.

All good but just thinking about how I'll wear a lot of weird stuff and I just bought two pairs of leather jeans but I wouldn't dare leave the house in that cow thing. :D

Haha. I thought same about your leather pants. I will say that I got a few WTF looks while riding and at the bar I frequent. Guys and gals I know from just being a regular at the place had a bit of a chuckle. The lady barkeeps liked it though, that isn’t a bad thing.
