A supernatural leghorn straw from the Ecuadorian Panama hat Company. The shop in Columbus appears as an advertiser in the programs for the Ohio State/Michigan games... back in the days when the school up north would win every once in a while.

So sorry to hear it, Joe. You and your Mom’s pics are beautiful.
I myself had a close call this week with my Mom and Dad and the Corona virus. Dad got it first, then Mom and then me. We all sat around for the last 2 weeks sick as we could be. Took my 86 year old Dad to the ER twice, but he has somehow, thankfully, survived it. A close call, to be sure, but cant help but believing God had a hand in his miraculous recovery.

It's about 9/16" wide and then sewn together Milan style.

Well, FEPSA gets credit for the pouncing, but I will take credit for the tacking stiches and ribbon!

I put the nutria/rabbit felt on the block, and I'll actually have to pounce this one, so we'll see how #2 goes. Aside from being inspired by the other self renovators and builders here, Scientific Hat Finishing says you learn a lot about constructing by taking a hat apart. Definitely true!

Thanks, Jonathan. We're having an ucommon heatwave going on right now with temperatures reaching between 30 en 34 degrees Celcius. May not seem like a big deal to some, but for the Netherlands that's scorching. So, as much as I'd like to wear the new felts (and a jacket), it's just not a good idea this week.
