@red devil , Trojan fits you perfectly and gotta say, despite my experience with LW, this jacket is nothing short of perfect.

The Trojan is my favorite from this lineup. All the jackets fit well. Not an easy feat.

Awesome collection and great fits, didn't you have a light blue Lewis Leathers too? How's that one going? (if you have it)

Since blue is in demand, let's go through this colour

That colour was called vintage turqoise by LL and was a bit firmer than the other colours. It was a tight fit although not as tight as the Freewheelers or the gray Thedi CR.










The front tends to flare still but I suppose it will get better with time

This one was a bit tight around the gut as it is a pretty trim fit, it is now very comfortable.

The original courrier peacoat I had made was black and is one main LW page here
As can be seen in the original thread, it was indeed too big, although I hadn't realised it at the time. Long story short I have a smaller navy one now

I freaking love that you always go outside the box with makeups and colors. It adds a much needed contrast to the stuff we always see. I mean im guilty of that too ha. And this a strong word here, but I adore your LW Trojan. One of the coolest and best jackets on all of TFL.

Is this one Navy Deer or Navy Horse? I mean based on the grain Im seeing Im like 99% sure its the Navy Deer but just asking to make clear. Thanks.

Should have been specific, it is deer
Makes me wonder how this model would work in horse actually...

Yeah I looked the LW page and they have both navy deer and navy horse as options. And again based on the grain its clearly deer but just wanted to be clear ha. I would be curious, because in my experience hides like deer, moose, elk, even when very thick are more spongey than horse or steer, they have a much better drape and form. Which is what you need especially for this model. Horse I dont know how well that would look on this cut. But only one way to find out-have you buy it, take pictures add them here-and I critique them from afar. hahaha

I don't have much experience with these longer coats yet, but I do have a HH downtown car coat in the queue... that should give us a good idea

Lots of great jackets! That red Tenjin is ace, though. Such a cool jacket. Nice boots and PBJ denim as well. The pics are a little dark, but are they AI rain denim?

I still sorely lack experience with camera, still experimenting to see what works best lol

I got this pair at the store in Shibuya, and they were simply known as the pair in natural Aizome, single and not double.

Tempted to get a double dyed natural jacket now that I have a chance of fitting in one.

Time to continue this thread and the the theme today is "exit" jackets. These two could have easily been "exit" jackets, they are the most versatile, can handle almost everything, and can work in almost any environment.
But then if I had done this, I would have maybe been posting a few evo pics every 6 months or so and that's it. Where is the fun in this?
I am curious about your point of view though, would you have stopped or went on?

So to start, my first LW jacket, The mighty Suburban! Yes it is mighty, it is one of my most worn jackets and has been my "to go" for a couple of years. I never felt the need to baby it, it has been through many environments, from the cold north to hot deserts. It has kept me perfectly dry during torrential weather on the motorbike. Pretty much the jacket that will never let you down.

And it is one of those jackets that have built the reputation of LW being "impossible" to break in. Which as you will see in the pics is a complete misunderstanding of the product. This is not lifeless sanded leather as can be seen elsewhere but it needs time... it took a year to start showing some grain and another one to start looking slightly worn. It is one of the older jackets that required commitment to break in, it is not designed to age after the first wear, that much is clear!

But it will reward you for your dedication as you will no doubt notice in the pictures. I think it is the jacket that reignited interest in LW within the forum, as people realised that they do in fact age and they do so gracefully at their own pace!









The pictures are under-exposed, but at least I finally know what that means, I am a terrible photographer still but there might be hope for me yet... I hope











The relevant thread is here, that was my first thread dedicated a jacket I think, and it was after a year of use as you can see.

In any case this jacket is now clearly too big to be worn with only a t-shirt as you will no doubt notice as well. I got it when I was heavier and it was comfortable, I once lost weight and thought about selling it... glad I didn't! I did put on the weight again and wore it some more until is started looking even better. This is the reason, I will probably never sell any of my jackets.They are all keepers. Also the fit looks much better with a thick hoodie underneath... only I don't have the courage to show it now in this heat

looks broken in, but perhaps still a long way before showing color variation from fading
seems like you already have the widest array of leather jacket models here all brand new, probably its time to enjoy them more and see how they grow characters

And from here we go on to the other "could have been an exit jacket", and it is the the tan Buffalo from Thedi! It is not my first Thedi though, that honour goes to the grey CR covered earlier in this thread.

This jacket was a bit tight at first, then loosened up to be comfortable when I was heavier... yet still fits well considering there is a difference of 14kg during it's lifetime! I don't what sorcery it is lol

I also call it my "heatwave" jacket because I rode in it during a very hot summer for extensive periods. Being a natural tan, it got darker much quicker than in normal conditions. And unsurprisingly, with the fit being so good, it was my best motorbike jacket for a good while, not letting wind in, not bunching up or exposing my back either. It is another jacket you can use in any circumstances, although I didn't ride in torrential rain in it yet (would be interesting to see how it handles that).

Theodoros is a magician when it comes to fit, patterns, construction... actually everything when I think about it. This jacket in particular probably increased interest for Thedi Leathers by a wide margin and I believe it is due to the elegant treatment it has been through before coming into my hands. It is also a special jacket for me as I ordered while visiting the shop for the first time. The thread dedicated to one of the visits is here







Interestingly this jacket seems to work really well in movement







It looks good in almost any pose

Joke aside, it is true that this jacket is almost designed for you to move around, can't really explain it. As a member once said you could easily fence in it

So there you have it, two "exit" jackets, that both impressed mostly when they had aged a bit, or maybe I should say "matured" as that seems a more adequate word. Speaking of which, I have never bothered with water treatment or other things - I am too lazy fot that - I just wear my jackets.

I guess it is pretty obvious that LW and Thedi are my current favourite makers, they started from the same branch, took very different directions and have reached the peak of this hobby in their own way.
