Not leather. 22oz Ultraheavyweight Slub Denim Jacket by Bravestar in LA, California. Fits like horsehide.

No negatives so far...
It's not 100% dry yet, but no loss of suppleness. The huge up-shot is that I could give the collar back it's rightfully majestic shape. It had been crushed over the years. The slight odor that remains will probably go away with some air and a vinegar spritz... a positive experience.

I've washed a bunch of jackets before: only positive experiences as well.

Thanks, It's an in interesting cut. It fits slightly snug at the top but has plenty of space at the bottom for movement. This is probably due in part to the gun holster expansion straps? I think that's what those are for anyway. I think it will work well for really cold commuting with the quilted lining and thick leather. It's definitely a bulletproof hide and one I won't worry about wearing on rainy rides at all.

I got that one into circulation. Isn't it an excellent jacket? Fits you really nice.

It's an absolute tank of a jacket for sure and yeah, I think it fits like that 'cause of the belt and all the stuff cops carry on it. It's a very warm jacket, too. If it was one size smaller, I'd have kept it even tho it fit great on layers.

Took this one out today, 1968 Martin Lane G-1 I recently had a knit replacement job on. The mouton fur is really dry. Think some beard oil might plump it up a little? I figure, if it's good for living facial hair what harm can it do to dead hair...
