It is a Fall mid-day and it has warmed up almost to 80'f f( 26'c). Wearing a panama hat for a Fall walkabout is appropriate today.

This VS panama has a 2.5" brim and it wishes to be an "up-brim." Today I am letting the panama decide.

Love that one Eric. Your hat, scenery and photography are always fantastic. Snazzy hat.

Very nice, Eric! When did you get this one from Art? I brought back a bunch of hat bodies for Art from Ecuador a few years ago and this one looks like it could be one of those.

Lots of interesting with that one Max.
Keep pulling out those few and far betweens. That’s the only time some of us will ever see them.

Robert Hall pork pie again. I remember Art Fawcett made a few stunners. I wonder who makes a good pork pie nowadays.

Say safe everyone.

Optimo made John Lee Hooker’s pork pies. Somewhat out of my price range, however.
Edit: Oops, my memory let me down...it was a homburg. There are some pork pies on the Optimo website... and they are still out of my price range.

Yah. I reached out to them years ago about ordering online/over the phone. The reply was a rather rude “we don’t do that”. With their prices being high I just decided to forget about them. Still have no inclination to look them up again.
That’s for the recommendation though.
