I was able to place an order for a black one the other day. I sized down bc the leather version I have fits a little big and boxy bc of the design of a chore coat.

Makes sense. Barbours and Belstaffs have always felt much heavier than 8oz suggests; I suspect that's the weight of the cotton pre-waxed.

How do you guys hear about new products before they sell out? I follow them on IG, but that does not look like a good way to get the word early.

IG is probably the best way to stay on top of the releases. Most stuff lingers for a few days, but the Wills Jackets sell out in minutes. He’ll announce something a few days before it gets listed but you’ll need to remember because he may not repeat it.
I think they do 20-25 Jackets at a time now so if that’s what you want you gotta be quick.

You need to subscribe to his monthly newsletter. He sends out date and time of Wills release for the month. Sep. batch sold out in 2 min. I would create an account with your personal info saved to save time in checking out.

I did not!
I didn’t either.
I can’t imagine he doesn’t have a batch tool for this. It should be done in no more than 5 mouse clicks...and that includes one to open a browser...I was real cool about it for 7 months. Now I’m just annoyed.

I’ll give it another day and then I’ll forward my deposit receipt. I’m sure I’m overreacting but I don’t like having to track stuff I bought on IG. I just feel this dragged along for far too long. I mean, I can have a guy in India build me a full MTM, from a pattern he doesn’t even have...in 4 days. Denim jacket is not rocket science.

I just placed an order for a wills jacket. Hope I don’t have to wait 7 months for mine. I do like most of his IG content, but the owner does get fired up pretty easily from some of the posts.
Also, I guess iron & resin knocked off his jacket but agreed to stop selling it after the owner was fuming about it. Is there like an unwritten agreement to not copy an article of clothing, bc it seems like almost all of the leather jackets for sale are exact or almost exact copies of other jackets.
Let’s see...pandemic?..civil unrest?...climate problems?...economic and political instability?...yep they got all that in Pakistan too.
