Man I might regret this but with the nearly exact same jacket ordered from Aero I may as well get this over with now. Beautiful brown CXL, or maybe tumbled CXL (I’m not sure tbh) FQHH HWM. Soft but consistently thick hide. Easy to wear. Size 38” but fits me perfectly and closer to a 42” or even 44”.

Lined in brown drill, antique brass HW. I had Dena at great leather relocate the belts. This adds real versatility to the pattern, can be worn like a sheene with the belts pulled in or let them out for all that boxy glory. I’m having Aero do this on my next one, still can’t believe they agreed but it does dramatically improve the fit. Horses mane down the back. Just a bad ass zip sleeve HWM. Any questions...Just ask!

Yeah I thought about that...but with the midnight blue V2 confirmed...there’s just no sense in it. I mean having two of the exact same jacket...don’t get me wrong it wouldn’t be the first time...but it’s just not sensible for me.

Good deal indeed for whoever grabbed it! I'm still waiting for a Black 38 Highwayman to pop up used with decent length sleeves!

Tony- just my opinion after seeing photos of a highwayman with belts moved up high. I'd strongly think long and hard about whether or not you really want that look. It might make it fit better (similar to a half belt pattern which the highwayman is not designed to be), but having those highwayman narrow bottom sections /waist panels makes it look a bit wonky with the belts up in no mans land. IMO. Anyway, ignore my nonsense but just trying to give a brother a heads up. If the belts were moved up, and you removed those 2" bottom panels front / back, I think that would mesh together a bit cleaner.

That’s exactly the plan! Delete the front and back “waistband panels” so the bottom hem is uninterrupted on the front and back side!

How high were the belts moved?

I'm wondering if I might achieve a Sheene look with a HWM this way, since I haven't seen a size 46 CR or Sheene in 9 months of looking. Everybody is a 38-42, it seems.

I moved them up about 5” from the hem on a 25.5” ish back length HWM.
