Aero B3 Jacket

Hello, I’ve been a member here for a while but I guess this is my first post. I hope I’m putting this is the right location. I’m looking at buying my first B3 jacket, and found a used Aero Leather one for sale online. I’m wondering what the opinions are on their jackets? I’ve read that some of the early ones aren’t as good as the later ones? It seems like a good deal at less than 600$, but still can’t afford to get something I won’t enjoy. Thank you for any guidance that can be provided!

Yes They are a very good quality brand, quite near the top of the line brands if you can authenticate it. https://www.aeroleatherclothing.com/product-detail.php?id=74 Also Might I suggest Schott, which would be right under the top of the line brands like Aero,Lost Worlds RMC, etc who get talked about a lot here. I’ve owned 2 Schotts in brown and black and they are like wearing a bearskin in a fuzzy tank - complete comfort and coverage. In the top of the line brands look for their IRVIN model . Top of the line and expensive but unparalleled amazing quality. I love B-3's though and while I don't know much about them, I've handled a few jackets by a few brands and my favorite ones are by RMC, followed by Eastman which is in a close tie with Aero. I don't think Aero is worse than Eastman by any mean, just that the Eastman is more, I dunno, refined in some of the details. They're both tremendous jackets, Aero is a bit cheaper and I'd say it is the best buy of the top tier class B-3's (and Aero makes a top tier B-3, don't let anyone tell you otherwise, or rather do and the politely ask them to explain why 'cause you won't hear anything constructive).

RMC uses the nicest wool out there though it takes some experience to even figure out what exactly does that even mean but once you know, it's noticeable and you'll keep thinking about it. I do and I don't even own a B-3.

Schott is great too but honestly, I'd always rather invest a few more $ into an Aero 'cause it's a lot better looking jacket, though Schott will serve its purpose equally well so no worries there but hey, that's not why you're here, right.

Price-wise you can’t beat Aero, Eastman is right there too. Quality wise, Eastman looks slightly more authentic In the details but the average person would never know. RMC in my opinion, looks the best all around. The lower priced others, and I have a 20+ year old San Diego leather factory which is the same Class as all the “2 pocket” Jackets has been a Great Sheepskin jacket but by no means is it the same class as the replicas.
