Panizza Royal, made in the seventies in Ghiffa, the historic headquarters of Panizza.

My daughter snuck up and snapped me reflecting. Figured I’d post it, and another shot I took to better showcase the ribbon on my hat. Wearing my whiskey VS, and one of my vintage ties. Thanks Bowen. The jacket is constructed exactly like the Pendleton Topsters and the Merrill Woolen Mills jackets that I have, but I believe is was made by a very talented home sewist.

I very much appreciate the condolences and kind words, what a great group of considerate folks in here. As for my mother in law, she was a tough old broad (she loved when I called her that), and we should all be so lucky and go the way she did. She was 90 and still living in her own house (with lots of help from us in recent years, but still home), she never got dementia, never had cancer and really wasn’t in pain. She had a seizure one day and passed in less than 24 hours. I told my wife mom didn’t want to be a burden, she made up her mind and that was that, she could never be swayed lol. Anyway, I thank you all very much for thinking of us.

I would have thought it was a normal weekend day, if not for passing the food bank in the parking lot of the Catholic Church on the way to the beach, with a huge line of hungry people waiting patiently.
