Himel Bros Kensington: Black and brand new Dark Brown Shinki

Just picked up the Dark brown oil-tanned this afternoon.
The black Shinki has indications of wear and has softened quite a bit.
The new Dark Brown is slightly thicker and will require a little more effort.

Belated congratulations! Beautiful duo you have there.

Out of curiosity, did you order exactly the same bespoke measurements as in the first jacket or did you tweak this one slightly?

I’m thinking of ordering another Imperial in the dark brown shinki ... if I had to do it over again, I’d maybe change my sizing ever so slightly.

Did you request any modifications with the fit of the brown Kensington from you black Himel? If I ever order a jacket form Himel I would ask him to match the measurements of the Kensington I purchased from you. Presently I am selling and not buying jackets until I get to a more manageable number of jackets

I ordered three Kensington's in total.

The very first one I sold to another TFL member, thankfully. I say thankfully because we are the bunch that truly appreciate the workmanship and quality. My second black Kensington had wider shoulders by one inch, and slightly longer sleeves.
I do believe another 1/4 inch might have been added to the chest measure. On my third and last Kensington, in brown, I added another 1/2 inch to sleeve length because I loved the "tunneling" effect.

Wider shoulder to shoulder by 1 inch, and added sleeve length for better "tunneling". Also, I think Dave added a bit to the pit to pit, maybe 1/4 inch.
