I literally will ship this in the same box it came in from Schott a couple of weeks ago. The jacket is really a decent jacket just a little small for riding for me. Over the last few months I have been on a quest for a comfortable riding jacket. This one was close but I decided to let it go. There is not one thing wrong with the jacket I bought it new from Schott at $870.00 plus tax but will let it go somewhat less. I have not used it outdoors just sat on the bike in the garage a couple of times and around the house for fit. The horsehide is light like Vincenza and as I understand it does come from Italy. Snaps and Zip pulls are perfect with the main being probably a size 8 which makes it very easy to zip up.

Could you please provide the actual P2P and shoulder measurements.
From the pictures - I can see P2P is 23 ? Is this normal for this jacket to run slim ?

This is for your future reference as the jacket has been returned to Schott (I did not realize that one can return within 30 days so I was good to go there).

Pit to Pit is hard to read on the photo, it is actually 23.5" across but the footballs under the arms help.
Shoulder width is 19.5"

I would say that the jacket is not slim but for a person of average build. For me it was a bit snug in the mid section as I am currently 5'9" at 200lbs. It is a great jacket but would be uncomfortable for me personally on the bike. So rather than try and make it work I felt it would be best to let it go before I took it on a ride.

There are no measurements posted on the Schott website.

Nice looking jacket... What I don't like is the light Vincenza comment. Schott should have another option for a heavy HH ( although on their website the refer to this as heavy horsehide ) I mean a real heavy HH like Aero has.

While this is in the classified section and not really for discussion and the jacket in question has been returned to Schott. I will add a couple of observations. 1. Schott being a true manufacturing company and not a "Custom" shop like Aero and LW; I think their horsehide probably mimicks some of the original Bucos and other manufacturing companies of the 50's which used substantially lighter horse than Aero and LW. 2. I am not positive of this but I think Schott made a "Per2" Horsehide Perfecto jackets in limited quantity in a heavier uncoated horse from 2009 - 2012. Overall though the 618 Horse is an excellent jacket that work well for most riders. Personally it was almost there for me too.
One more thing Schott is a very professional company and in my opinion their customer service is frankly spot on!
