Pants to go with N-1 Deck Jackets

Have you considered flannel lined jeans ? If not that then look into duck/twill work pants by Carhartt. It is the alternative to jeans but I still say jeans look the best with an N1. Some things you can't fight.
More importantly what color is your N1 ?

@Sonero: I got the khaki version and the navy blue version. I agree, we all are used to see them combined with a nice pair of denim pants and this look is hard to beat. But I like to try something beyond jeans. And the Carharrt pants as well as most chinos are not beyond enough so to speak to get me away from my jeans. I very much prefer (blue!) jeans over khaki, brown or greenish duck pants, twill pants or chinos. So it needs something really special but not too weird (i.e. clown-like pants) to convince me. The blue pants shown in one of the above images (the guy with blue deck jacket and blue modified deck pants) is quite spot on. But these particular pants have a catastrophic high rise. When he puts his jacket off (there are photos found on the web without jacket) he is like 75 % lower body with 25 % upper body. I looked this way when I was 12 and my legs had grown faster than my rest.

In that case you may want to look into EMS pants or service workers pants. Look at 5 11 tactical and Blauer. Basically navy blue duty pants. They would work with either color. My only concern would be looking too "duty" oriented but you can accessorize with a nice scarf or hat.
I agree though that jeans are never comfortable. Especially in the winter.

By the way congrats on buying both colors. I was hard pressed to do the same but I went with the Khaki from Buzz R Demotex version. Still waiting on it to arrive.

Good Luck with it.

Congrats to your choice! Hope you will post some pics when you got it! Though my bet is, you will end up with a second N-1 in navy blue sooner or later.

I also started with the khaki version a few years ago. But my wife always found it made me looking pale faced :(. But I could not press myself enough to sell it, so it is still here to be adored but rarely worn.
So I ended up buying another one in navy blue early this year. The blue version was very much liked by her. It is a very versatile and beautiful color. This version has the broad US NAVY across it's back which can be somewhat a test of courage these days in certain parts of about any city in the world I guess. I can accept it because it is historically correct and I love and pay tribute to history.

Thanks for your recommendations! Meanwhile I settled with my Barents Pro Pants in strom/night sky which is a very beautiful blue and fits nevertheless nicely with the navy color of the jacket - not at all tone in tone. I thing the polycotton blend FR uses feels much better in a wet and cold climate than denim does. I got a roomy and loose fit so I can wear warm longjohns underneath. But the search goes on. Still hoping for pics showing fellow loungers in their N-1s with something else than jeans or brown, green, khaki chinos ;)

^ I just looked those pants up. I still say navy blue duty pants are another option. Most are made with a thick material. Would combine well with the rugged aspect of an N1. I do like the Barents pants though. Good Choice > Urban Adventurer.

As far as the USN stencil " Sigh " yeah but it makes it authentic. If not then why pay so much for a replica ? Doesn't make sense. The blue version has it written clear across the back. NO I couldn't do it. Especially not after the Covid fiasco. I am too embarrassed to advertise.

WELL! Now I have to say something to you. Be warned, this will be pathetic.

There is absoluteley NO reason to be embarrassed for anyone living anywhere because of anything that is entirely messed up by politicians, criminals, yea-sayers and notorious fanatics except politicians, criminals, yea-sayers and notorious fanatics.

Edit: deleted the other nonsense I wrote.

I appreciate your comments. However I still will not accept this type of behavior I am seeing as my own kind. Disassociation is my only relief.

Enjoy your new pants. :)

That honours you greatly! But I can see that there are many US citizens who think like you and behave accordingly. I am not tricked by the fact that we often only see those who shout loudest. They get their public stage much too often just because TV channels and social media can reach more public attention. I still believe the morons are the minority. And this has nothing to do with a nation as a whole. We are all in this together, Bro. Keep healthy and enjoy looking forward to receiving your N-1!
