5" crown, 4.25 brim, old, silver belly beaver that I just had rebuilt. And a 5" bound brim, 6" crown, black, beaver. Hopefully I'll see both by the end of the week.

I just ordered my first Akubra...a Squatter. It already shipped so it shouldn't take too long to get here depending on the Customs delay. I saw the Squatter was discontinued and the Hattery had them discounted and had my size....

Hello all! I am a new member and kind of new to hats. I have been lurking here for a little while reading and learning a lot of things I did not know. Still a lot of terminology I don't get yet but I am sure I will learn. I ordered my fourth hat today, an Akubra Campdraft in Taupe. I recently acquired an Open Road Royal Deluxe in Sage(New modern) and I have a modern Stratoliner in Silverbelly I got a couple of years ago along with a Stetson Crushable of some sort in wool kind of a navy blue/grey. Anyway I like the look of the vintage Stratoliners and Open roads I have seen on here and would love to work my into one in the future. For now I decided to give the Akubra a try, it looks like an attractive alternative.
