Basic COOPER build but as they tend to run small, this just plain didn’t fit right, plus the seller didn’t bother to mention that they were a smoker! I hung this outside in the fresh air for about a week, and hit it with Fabreeze and did manage to get MOST of the smell out, but I can still smell it faintly, so please plan on that. It’s is otherwise good shape, is nicely broken in, no damage, usual pilling on the knits and a couple of small whiteish spots which may come off with some scrubbing. Wear to edges and high points of seams but very sound. It truly is a good daily beater jacket and priced accordingly.

MEASUREMENTS:
CHEST (laid flat x2) 23”
SLEEVES (from point of shoulder to end of knits) 25”
BACK LENGTH (from base of collar to end of cuffs) 25”
SHOULDER (across upper back) 22”

Hey, it’s got a ton of life left, still smells a little like cigarettes, it’s loaded with character and it’s cheap. What more can I say?? $60 shipped in US.

I have the identical jacket in a couple of sizes smaller. These were the re-issue jackets to the Air Force in 1987 when the Air Force authorized wear of the A-2 by aircrew members.

Mine came with the regulation Velcro already sewn on.

In spite of the cheap price these sold for new (and now used) these are nice jackets and they are authentic Air Force issue. I've seen more than my share of these hanging on the coat rack at the O' Club.
