FREE TO A GOOD HOME: Sears Oakbrook cafe racer, 42

Sears Oakbrook cafe racer, size 42 (I think).

Wanted to do this for a while, now I feel I have to. Cover the shipping (20-ish Euros to anywhere EU) and it's yours.

This is a stunning jacket, finest example of an old school workmanship, made in a leather you can't find anymore. Mid-weight, very easy to wear, soft, very natural feel to it. Light rayon lining, all the appropriate 60's hardware.

The entire jacket is IMO something special so this isn't me just getting rid of junk - I was holding on to it 'cause it was cool to just have this jacket hanging in a wardrobe but the thing is, I just don't wear it.
Too light for winter, even on layers and too large for T-shirt weather.

SO if you think you'd have more use for it & if you like it, it's yours.

The jacket is of course in a pristine condition all around. Some minor scuffs here and there but zero issues whatsoever. Clean, no smell, lining perfect, all hardware operational.

Measurements are...
P2P: 58 cm / 23"
Waist: 51 cm / 20"
Shoulders: 51 cm / 20"
Back: 66 cm / 26"
Sleeves: 67 cm / 26.5"

Really, genuinely cool, easy to wear, true vtg cafe racer.

I would really prefer if this went to an active forum member. And it's perfectly okay if the jacket goes to someone who had already got something free, I don't mind at all.
@torfjord , I know how much you like that Brooks you just got and lemme tell you something, you'd LOVE this one and it's close to your size. Sleeves would be perfect. Or @Marc mndt , you wanna try your luck with this CR as a trade? :D

This hobby is for people who can afford stuff so I understand perfectly well this isn't about someone financially benefiting from a free jacket.

Well, that's that, I suppose.

It’s beautiful! Slightly too big for me, so I’m afraid it would fall in the same category for me as it did for you. And honestly I think I’ve reached cafe racer Nirvana with my Brooks.
Love the Christmas spirit here lately!

This isn't such a big deal. Quite a few jackets have been gifted back and forth here, though it happened mostly privately. I've gotten some great jackets for free, too and I still owe people something nice! Nick, I'm still on the case. :D

Probably too much of a pain to ship to the US, but if you're able and willing I would give it a try. And if it doesn't work for me I'd pass it along for free to someone else. But if you want to keep only in the EU I totally understand...

I've sent 3 jackets across the pond in the last two months. They each took about 3 weeks to deliver. No problems at all.
