Thanks, Stefan. A very soft and pettable felt indeed, well remembered.

They say, we'll get some sunshine during the first days of Christmas here in Denmark. That's a present I'll really be glad for. Hope Santa drops off some sunshine for you in Volendam, too.

Very soft felt if I recall correctly. Suits you very well, Steve. We could do with some sunshine over here as well.

Looks good on you, Johnny. Embrace the short brim and it will embrace you :)

Great photos btw. Did you find the bird? ;-)

I have been wearing it for a few days now. Still feels odd to me. A little costum-ie a little Blues Brothers. I am not sure if I can really embrace a hat I don’t find overly practical. I still prefer the wider brims of my fedoras and Akubras.

Annabelle (my youngest) and I went for a little nature jaunt to see if we could locate the Giant North American Vampire Woodpecker

Love the outfit, Mike. A new year's resolution for you should be: wear that beauty of an "Olcott" more often in 2021. I'd certainly like to see more of it.

Actually, this was yesterday's hat wearing. Took a day off of Stingymas to visit Mike Miller at NW Hats. Had a great BS Session about hats and such. Wore my new gray overcoat that Santa let me buy from my Haberdasher in Albany. Since I was going to see Mike, I wore the famous "Olcott" 1912 homburg. Love this hat, it does not get the outings it deserves. I might have fell in love with a fluffy aubergine rabbit...a 1920 style homburg in the works. I thought I remembered a children's story about the "Aubergine Rabbit", Googled it, and was a little embarrassed...

I'd have allowed you to forego this month's payment if you'd turned up in my bank dressed like that, Eric. Then again, with all your wonderful hats and class outfits, I don't think my bank would last long :)

Morning errand to the bank. "The Man" has to have his pay regardless of the pandemic. I wore a 30's Brock fedora. It coordinated well with my blazer choice.

It won't be much by the looks of it, but who knows? Fingers crossed.

I hope not, Alan. Your photos deserve to be saved for posterity in the form they're in. Luckily enough, I was able to see your recent photo today. I haven't been able to for a while, no doubt for some of the reaons you give.

As usual, it was well worth seeing. Your photos are energizing enough, they don't need to be swept away under flowing water :)

It's possible that the glitch is a security concern with my website pages. Perhaps all my posted images will someday be just a memory, like a Buddhist sand mandala...

Giving the stingys a rest today. Art Fawcetts VS first crossover ever made. Also my most non-Indiana Jones, Indiana Jones hat I have. Wrong colour, shape, crown, brim. But I get more “Hay Indy” comments with this hat then my Adventurebilt Indiana Jones hat (he made them for the 4th movie)

Knox Flying Clouds...

The somewhat light weight Knox Flying Cloud feature super cool liner art displaying the sailing ship The Flying Cloud.

Both hats have 1 3/4 brims and about 4 3/4 crowns as shaped

This grey was likely mid to late 1960s with an $18.50 price tags and a Knox Custom Cavanagh edge. Weighed in at 102g. I put this hat on par with my Dobbs Four Season which also retailed at the same price with a Guild edge.

The brown one I believe is probably slightly later as it no longer includes the upgraded edge. This one weighs in at 106g
