I usually teach most CQB at 1-3 yards as defense against sudden attack at close range when you can’t assume a more effective shooting platform. We also train with CQB on your back as it after being knocked down.

My favorite shooting is informal plinking and I shoot more .22LR ammo than everything else combined.

I got to open this wonderful Christmas present yesterday. And boy am I happy with it. From the photos I had thought the brim might be on the shorter side... I’m pleasantly surprised to find it a nice full 2 1/2 inches. I find the felt and design to be very similar to the Playboy. It seems to want take on a bit of a jaunty Hollywood brim. An excellent hat I think I will enjoy.
