^^ always liked them myself, especially the ones with a cowboy yoke. If it Wasn't so long that it looked like a dress when I put it on I'd probably get one myself.

Nicest Chopper I've ever seen in a leather that seems unusual for Vanson. I can tell this one's going to be something else. How the ef do you get something like that as a gift, anyway?

This is the Paul Cox/Vanson collab, the Berserker. Mine is too. It’s a Chopper with some subtle and not so subtle tweaks.

This is what you need. I’ll proxy. Do it. Start off 2021 the right way.

Might go high but I'm thinking about it. After all, I won't find a better jacket. Will definitely need you if I win.

Earliest numbered model Vanson C2. 3 digit code. So probably 1984. Not sure when the "good" leather first started being used.

Separately I found out my 50k numbered Enfield was made late 2000. The newest ones for reference are 80k. So if you're looking for 90's leather, probably 40-50k number. It's not foolproof system, but gives you a good guide.

You mean bad leather. Good leather has been used all the way till late 2010's. Everything else is a safe bet.

Motolegends in UK has some French Helstons jackets on sale, some at substantial discounts. It is hit and miss with sizing. In case anyone is not already aware, they have some nice videos on youtube in which they critique a number of the jackets they carry.

The most expensive is a scam - hoping you’ll bite and he’ll then buy the other for the lower price and ship to you. If the cheaper one has sold you’ll be refunded.

Yes, they often use that Japanese term 神経質 and when translated it becomes "nervous people". The term in this context means people with concerns or OCD.

I don't remember if I have mentioned this before. When looking at items on Yahoo Auction JP and you see that there is a VAT on the bid price, it means it is from a registered shop. If that happens, you can try to search for the same item on Rakuten and since Rakuten is not an auction site, you may be able to buy that item right away thru proxy at the Rakuten price which is most likely the same as the opening bid on Yahoo. That is a good way to skip the auction process thereby saving time and money.
