Good tactics - I visit Antique Fairs and am frequently asked if I’m looking for anything in particular. BTW, I would have given it a try as well. I once bought a 5k jacket for €150. The seller simply didn't know what he had in hands.
they probably measured the inside seam (instead of the outside gusset) seam for the shoulder. 17 doesn't look right.
this one is tempting. I just got that Levis buffalo one which is just fine, but I got to imagine the leather on this is going to be better. Hmmmm. Just worried about the usual Schott dimensions and they didn't provide very good measurements.
