Another great one, Michael. I think we should make the RD OR the Official Hat of The Fedora Lounge!

Beautiful OR Michael.

I have noticed from time to time the pages here are extremely slow.
Thanks Joe. That was a great pair of hats your were exercising today.

Wonder if it's time for a new daily hat thread? i recall it slowed down when the last one got too long.

Thank you, sir.
Thanks Randy. I probably wouldn't argue against the idea. That is a great looking one you have there.

Snow for a second day in so many weeks here in Central Texas. Over 6 inches at my house with light snow most of the day - unheard of in these parts...probably a record. Light wind and temps around 30F, so it was a beautiful day overall. What better way to commemorate the day than with a Glacier felt by Art Fawcett.

Great hat!

This is the most snow we’ve received in Waco since 1982!

Some hats remaining for this weeks' Italian week edition. Let's see.

Borsalino Ipersca Turchese

Garibaldi (probably made by Cervo)

Borsalino Landasti Misto Ruitor

The year 2020 at least brought me these two borsalino's (even if I did have to wait for four months until they got here).
Four months wait worth it, Stefan. That Landasti is just about perfection.

Cold day with pearl sky, magnificent light for photographing.
For the Homburg & Festivity series, today is the turn of a "Diplomatique" hat from the 1930s.
View attachment 299726 This is what the address of the "A. Meer" shop in Strasbourg indicates in its locations that determine the age of the hats.

"Etablissement Ecuyer & Thomas - Chazelles sur Lyon" The size is 6 1/2 or 60 centimeters. Unlined and soft felt with remarkable malleability.

No other indication because inside the sweatband, very light in line with the felt, there is no label to give information.

The color of the felt is incredible, ranging from burnt brown to violet, as well as the ribbons that adorn it.
The dimensions are impressive like all homburgs made in France.

Happy Sunday to you all. Thanks for the likes and compliments on your magnificent hats
A dynamic Diplomatique, Daniele. Definitely getting plum tones coming across on my screen.

A fitting hat indeed, Randy. You have more snow than here in northern Indiana at the moment.

Alan's Air Light Playboy,https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/stetson-air-light.54485/page-3#post-2762076, has inspired me to wear a unlined brown Playboy this morning.

A "mystery to me" grease spot has gotten on the brim. I have some cleaning to do on this oldster fedora. TLC later this week on this hat. This hat I have had on my hat rack for over a decade and it has gotten lots of gentle wear. Fedoras are definitely long lasting.

Fantastic hat, Daniele. Incredible colour!
Grazie Stefan! It is sure your Italian weeks are a sort of great homage to our ancient art to make hats

This homburg is just wonderful Daniele. And it looks amazing on you.
Thanks Joe, one of the best seeker of hats on FL

Absolutely outstanding, Daniele. Hats from A. Meer never disappoint. The colour combinations and proportions on this one highlight what superb hat makers the French were back then.
Steve thanks a lot, your collection is growing up ina wonderful way

A dynamic Diplomatique, Daniele. Definitely getting plum tones coming across on my screen.
Grazie Gionata, your variety of hats is an happiness for my taste
