Bowlers all seem alike at first, but I've had the same experience as you did, Randall. The differences are subtle, but they are there and can make or break a hat.

Thanks, Randy. It's actually more of a brown, but the winter sun certainly brought out the purple hues.
Intermission. The French were to be found regularly throughout history in the Piemonte region and it belonged to the French until 1861. Don't know where I'm going with this, but there is a short French intermission in Italian week. Here it is.
