NBD for HH! Ardbeg Oogie with my Peters Bros Shady Oaks Banker's Special 7X Seventy-five.

An NAS blend of very old Ardbeg Oloroso Sherry Cask aged single malt with younger Ardbeg aged in Bourbon barrels. 108 proof so drinking it neat produces a touch of tongue burn until you anesthetize. Nice Peat smoke, raisins & figs typical of Oloroso Sherry, so far.

Your review sounds tasty. I did have to google up the pronunciation - excellent name.

Tonight I am home and sipping a Founders Oatmeal Breakfast Stout. One of my fav's. The flavor goes on and on.

I was looking up the ABV to answer a question from my wife and I discovered this beer vid. How cool is this?

Cheers folks, Eric -

Tonight I enjoying a Yuengling Golden Pilsner. This is an excellent easy Pilsner that has, IMO, a better balance of hop and malt than others I have tasted lately. Drinking this lighter beer, 4.7% ABV, is thirst quenching and yet I can even have a second if I choose. I am not necessarily a Pilsner, light beer, kind of guy, but this is delightful tasting tonight.

It does make everything brighter after finding out tonight that our business has qualified for State Aid and Covid Support monies. The monies were transferred into my bank today. Yes, actually transferred. Cheers from Minnesota. I had 15 pizzas delivered for my employees and athletes early this evening. I was celebrating the combined effort of my community and clients. Our State Representative came out with some media and we saluted all the efforts on behalf of small business.

Cheers, Eric -

I have a delivery scheduled for this weekend of Green Spot, Beastie,
Aultmore Foggie Moss 12, Dalwinnie 15 yr. and a Jura 10. A have a couple of bottles of red wine and several 6 packs of beers added to round out my order.

Eric -
Sounds like a great order! I'll look forward to your opinions & review of those I know nothing about.

Tonight should be Tequila Tuesday, if I wasn't out. But I've been trying to ignore the temptation for HH by taking pics with my Stetson Shady Oak Farm.

That is great news Eric! Congratulations!

Went to the small town "beer cave" to buy a lottery ticket and looked around in the cave as I was in the mood for a dark beer. Amber was about as dark as they carried, but did see this oddball.

Thought about it for a split second, but it was $12 for a four-pack. I just bought my MegaMillions ticket and went on my way. Got home and am enjoying a Papa's Pilar Rum instead ... and dreaming of a lottery win.
