hi, it's a normal fit and falls between the waist and hip.

lol, not sure how they measured but I got this jacket from them. Maybe I should lay the jacket really flat.

Another reason could be I got this jacket with the old model. And they listed is the new model with the newer cut. Thus resulting in different measurements.
