Eastman A2 Help!

Hey guys!

I'm looking into buying an Eastman A2, I've narrowed it down to the Eastman edition, the Rough Wear 27752, or the Monarch MFG 23378.

I'm not very well versed in the A2 repro world, so I'm not quite sure what the differences between these models are, please enlighten me!

I used the HPA site to nail the measurements of the best A-2 contract for my build.

There are differences, but they are so minor it doesn’t matter.. if you don’t plan to obsess about the small differences in collar shape or curve of the pocket flap.. just get the one you like better.

Sounds good! I'm planning on losing a bit of lockdown weight first before seriously measuring up for an A2. Kind of regret not buying one a couple years ago before the price hikes...

If historical accuracy is not your primary motivation, the “house” version is good value for money. I have the house A2 (“slender” version, i.e. a trimmer cut) and both leather and construction leave nothing to be desired.
