Hey folks I’m selling my worn once for 10 mins Parkhurst Allen in Horween Natural Dublin US size 9. 5oz Dublin on Dainite Soles. Bought this about a year ago maybe even a bit longer, tried them on when I was wearing very thick socks and said these fit great. Haven’t worn them since. Tried on again recently and they are bit bigger than I would like. Got myself a new pair same style and leather in 8.5 that fit great and these are legit the most comfortable boots I own. They aren’t you know tripe/quadruple stitched with inch thick leather mid soles. They aren’t “work” boots. These are meant for office, Streetwear. But they are sleek and easy to dress up. Like I said beyond comfortable when you get the right size. Made with quality materials. Come with the stock flat wax laces. For those that don’t know Dublin is a veg. Tan. Here’s a description of it
“More rustic than our base Essex line, Dublin is a veg tan infused with a rich blend of natural waxes and then hot plated. It has all the supple characteristics of Essex with a darker surface color that showcases the natural grain.”

It does show the grain and their are little scars on the tongue and the side of the boot, you can see them in the photos. These are not wear scars or damage but the natural veg leather. Some love it, some dont. These retail for 298 in this configuration. Worn once for a few minutes. I’ll take a good chunk off and ask 225usd. If you live outside the US and are worried about all the crazy shipping costs I am willing to discuss splitting the costs with you. So don’t be afraid simply because of that I’m open to work something out if possible. Thanks.

Dropping these to 200. Need them gone so the fiancé doesn’t yell at me! Ha. So someone do me a favor and help on that front.

How does sizing compare to.Viberg's 2030 last, any idea?
Sadly I don’t know. Viberg is one of the few brands I have not owned. I can tell you as I said these are just a tad to big length wise for me. I am an 8.5 not a 9. For comparison in Red Wing IRs and Blacksmiths I have to go down to a 7.5. My nikes are a 9. Chippewa service boots I had that were similar to these I was an 8. But that doesn’t really help you, if you are traditionally a 9 I’m just sitting here describing my 8.5 size foot to you haha. I hope maybe that helps a bit.

Thanks! Went to google court and found out they are ~.5 size smaller than the 2030 last from Viberg, so won't fit my feet, sadly.

Glad! Those are sharp boots!!

Thanks and no worries. I’m sure I could sell them either for or close to my original asking price if I just went to eBay or grailed. But I don’t like the fees and taxes. They aren’t the best for sellers nor buyers. I would rather keep them here where we have more ability to work out pricing and shipping. Also makes sure things go to legit buyers. Not that things don’t get flipped here quite often but it’s because things don’t fit or somehow don’t work out; as opposed to just flipping to try and grab more money out of them.

You're right about that...am learning the community on TFL are a solid.group. Profiteering is not the.norm; folks want to see nice items go to a "good home" where they will be put to use. It's good to see...

Absolutely. If things don’t work out or don’t have the look you thought then sell or trade away. If you go back a few pages on the classifieds you’ll even see multiple were giving away jackets for Christmas. Things will for the most part be sold around here for their real value and not hype prices or marketing. If something has a flaw it will be listed. Like even with these I list this boot has scars. It’s part of the design element for these, but if that’s not for you, list it so people know. The long term members here really try to look out for the group. My favorite collectors group. No elitist snobs nor profiteers here. Glad you’re enjoying your stay here.

Hi can I ask you a few questions about the boots?
-were these firsts or seconds?
-do you have a sense of sizing compared to other brands? Do you have other boots (Red Wings, Allen Edmonds, etc.) that you could compare to?

Thank you

*edited for grammar

These are firsts; or rather were. They are 2-3 years old now. Simply from sitting in a closet and going through a move they are not absolutely perfect anymore. But that’s why I’m charging 175 and not 298 as they go for new. Size wise they may run close to TTS. I own Red Wing Iron Rangers and Blacksmiths I have to size down one hole size in those from 8.5 brannock-down to 7.5. These are a 9 and are big on me but I have an 8.5 and they fit perfect. So to me I would say these are really close to true to size. Parkhurst recommends going down a half size in general. For my foot at least I didn’t have to. I can add some new updated pictures if you’d like.

Ok. I'm struggling a bit with the sizing. I'm a 8.5-9 in Iron Ranger (neither fit great), and a 9 or 9.5 in Allen Edmonds boots depending on the last. But, I've tried 9.5's in Parkhursts and they were slightly too big. But, I've heard they expanded their sizes slightly when they came out with a new last recently. Love the boots but sadly I think they may not fit. Thanks for your response.

Are these updated pics, I'm curious to see how they have aged? If not can up provide a couple. I'm kind of in the same boat, I have a pair of sz 9 parkhurst (dark chocolate) and they are a tad big as well. Currently they are sold out in 8.5 right now in these.

These are several months old but there’s no change. I haven’t worn them. They sit in my closet waiting to be hopefully be sold some day haha. I also sold the ones I got in my size. Haha. I sold them because I’m getting married in September (well hopefully getting married damn Covid) and needed the money. I’m down to like 2 pairs of boots and 2 jackets. Trying to save up. So unfortunately the ones I got in my size are sold; and the size 9s pictured here don’t get worn.
