I have a question regarding the name tag that was attached to the jacket I recently purchased. Please see the attached pictures. The jackets tag shows it to be a 1964 Ralph Edwards Size 46. Goat skin and mouton collar. It is in fantastic shape! A little big on me, but oh well. The other pic shows a name tag on the left chest that says Lt. Cmdr B?. Is this authentic? There was a navy aviator named Robert Neal Woods who got his wings in 1964, and who was shot down over North Vietnam in 1966. He spent 7 years as a pow.

Thanks for your help. s-l400 (12).jpg s-l400.jpg

The name on the name tag is Lt. Cmdr. Bob Woods. If you look at the image of the inside of the jacket you can see part of of the name Woods written with a giant pen or a paint brush
