Five Star Leather Jackets

I’ll post some better pics tomorrow. Arms are a little too short for my liking and the cuffs kind of flare out. Other than that, the fit is pretty good.

The grain and color of the leather is nice, but it has a plastic smell to it. The box it shipped in was less than 2in thick. Lol

I’ll probably just wear this jacket when I fly for work.

Needs a little wear for sure but looks good! It’s interesting to hear your comments about smell. I’ve heard that before but never experienced it! My black goat had the strongest chemical smell but vanished overnight.

the shoulder slope makes a big difference, 5star's shoulder is too flat.

Last week received my 5* order. I pulled the trigger on a vest and jacket at the same time. I decided on a Cossack jacket in premium goat seal brown, cotton lining Olive Color, and olive stitching.
The vest was AVIATOR BIKER VEST SEAL BROWN SHEARLING with some modifications. straight front hem, shirttail back with a 1 1/2 inch drop, two-way zipper with leather pulls.

I am satisfied with both pieces for the total cost.
Looks great! Welcome to the Lounge.

It might be because I’m built differently but I don’t have any issues with the shoulder slope of my Fivestar jacket. In fact, it’s the most comfortable jacket I have in that area. Shoulders, neck hole fits me so well that I can’t even feel the jacket on me.

Haha thanks! I was hoping to see some fit pictures but I'm happy with that too, crappy weather here so probably it's the same for you :)

That's a great looking Trucker! I really need to get one for myself too! I've seen a few different truckers already and after I get my CR I'll think of something.

No worries at all, I thought that's the case and besides, there's always time, I was just curious how it looks.

Anyone specify 6 ply thread when creating your 5* custom?
Shawn gave me the choice between 3 and 6 ply and I chose 6 ply because I want my contrast stitching to really stand out.
Wondering if anyone else has.

Not me. I had the choice between different colour threads, but not the thickness.

Interestingly, I didn't know there was a choice either, but I went to the features and customization link on their website to show Shawn the colour thread I wanted and he said "thats 6 ply, not 3 ply", so I went for 6 ply. Learning as I go.
