I'm not familiar with this brand. Is the price in any way justifiable or are they charging a 'fashion upcharge'.
No idea. If it's got a bit of a stretch, it might work. The movement at the top of your legs is going to be relatively small.
I don't know the brand either, I just found the discount code! However, according to this article they run their own tnnery, so I suspect that they're not just a fashion brand.

I am not entirely sure but it seems that their selling point is their heritage since 1832. I guess it is like shirt by Charvet even though not fashion per se still very upscale due to their heritage.

Per this article in 2015, (possibly sponsored? I don't know the site), their USAAF jackets started at €2600 and their shearling RAF jackets started at €3100. Now five years later, their USAAF jackets begin at €3500, and their shearling RAF jacket starts at €5000.
Prices aside, many of the positive comments seem to be about the "buttery soft" sheepskin leather they use for their jackets. I hate that term, haha.

They use that phrase, Plays like Butter, in the Guitar world. Now that is pretty odd too, playing with greased fingers? I understand it means easy playing, but still.

I pulled the trigger on this one.
Lancers are some of my favorites and I've been long intrigued by this pattern, before identifying it was an australian model. It seems that it was manufactured by at least 3 companies, A&P (the one pictured), Mars Leathers, and another one, I forgot the name... From Melbourne.
I'll give you my review when I receive this jacket.

I noticed the D pocket config. Beautiful. How do you tell the difference between a Sportclad and Kurland? I notice a difference in the leather, but anything else? This is another of my favorite jackets. Thanks.

Lol!! Yeah Butter is synonymous with SMOOTH in many a slang dialect it seems. I can kind of wrap my head around the notion of a guitar playing like butter. I don't play but my cousins and brother do and they pick up a cheap guitar and immediately have complaints about the feel. I can kind of see the rough relation. Its that something MOVES smoothly. Now with leather, it seems to be a textural comparison. You may caress your leather jacket but who sits around caressing their butter (Last Tango in Paris Marlon Brando aside
)???? JACO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a great anecdote!!! Jaco was a very intriguing character and a hell of a bass player. I never got to finish the whole documentary on him but it was interesting. I love bassists who push that instrument to be the feature instrument in the band. Guys who push it well beyond a rhythm instrument that sorta accompanies the drums. Jaco, Mike Watt, Les Claypool.........those guys are quite an eclectic list from different genres---just some personal faves that come to mind. Revolutionary bassists are so less celebrated than their regular guitar hero counterparts it seems.
But this notion of gliding over the frets with Fried Chicken greased fingers sounds both genius and loco---sorta spot on for Jaco. We gotta send Terry a bucket of KFC or Popeyes so he can jam like him!!!!!!!!!
