Now that I think about it I saw your post with pics of that hat and the old Stetson ads. I thought that was the same model in brown. 1958-59 ?

Pretty sure they are all fur felt. I didn't see any indication of a wool content label on mine (and that was required since 1939 in the USA), but the hat is old so it might be missing. Yours seems to be the same era.

There’s a hatter in British Columbia who sells hats by the six pack and mine just shipped! @belfastboy has been making custom hats and doing refurb work on several more. I think he’s going to get all the work he can handle.
